Socom Confrontation's 1.6 patch

I read that it will come out with the 1.5 and will have the Dutch and Italian added clans and the HK417(M-4 with M-14 damage), SPAS 15 (M4-90 style), M82 (the true SASR 50 cal sniper), AK-74 (more accurate less powerful AK-47), and the SR-25 (M-16 with M-14 damage and sniper rifle accuracy). AND its all FREE!!

Will these updates make the game anythng better ? I guess instead of a rushed released in 2008 they could have released it in 2009 with a better game.

I am gonna stay away from Socom until the 1.6 update is released. I have played the game a lot but it just didn't feel like Socom has always been in the past (I have the complete collection of the PS2 versions of Socom).

Yea...the next Socom is being made by Zipper. I don't think they will start on it until they finish MAG, but people bash on Slant Six but I actually like them. yea, yea...they had a rough start to Socom: Confrontation but they have been patching stuff up like crazy and doing a lot more to make Socom better than Zipper EVER did.

Of patch 1.6? Well, Slant Six said some time this summer. Or new Socom? No news about it yet.

Weapons and new clan nationalities for sure, I don't know about maps.
