Anybody ever notice how accurate this movie is to what the world is becoming like... especially in the US?

Sounds very cyberpunk.
Are you anti-privatization?

Too simplistic of a question. Privatization can be good or bad, depending on what we are talking about.

Huge Weaving's best role and yet he never shows his face through-out. ha.

V shows a world that has been taken over by Progressivism.
It shows a government out of control, that feels the need to protect everyone from themselves, as the movie states "we need to remind them of WHY THEY NEED US (Government)".
It is about stopping Progressivism and the rise of the individual.

Clearly you have not read the comic Ash. The author of the graphic novel disavowed the movie precisely because the movie turned his story into a liberal fantasy. If you had read the graphic novel, you'd know that it was a celebration of the destruction of the government and of the rise of anarchy. Hardly something you'd identify with, seeing as how have established yourself as a very heavy statist.

I'm not identifying with V, I'm identifying with the society portrayed in the movie.

The movie bears only a superficial resemblance to the book.
And Mystery, I agree.

In any case, I agree with Lord V.

Hi everyone,
I've joined your forum because I'm seriously looking at moving to Whitehaven in about 18 months. So I thought it would be a good place to find out more about the place and the people. Also a good place to pick up ideas of where to buy.
Anyone heard the new Living Sacrifice song, "Overkill Exposure"?
If do what did you think?
Hey there, i got the link to this forum from a friend and I'm really eager to read the living rulebook. Unfortunately, I always get an error message when I'm downloading the file from the golden bolter society.
