Any info on Benelli TNT1130 and KTN 990 Superduke

Any one got any info on inherent problems ie) mechanical, repairs, servicing, parts etc??? Or what good points about these bikes other than the reviews by bike shops . cheers

yeah maybe he will give some insight to the KTM. After much deliberation, i am leaning towards the Benelli, sex on wheels lol!

The base model has crappy suspension, you need to buy the sport to get the adjustable option and it's a must. A mate of mine had the franchise on the sunny coast for them. Prestige motorcycles around the corner from work stock them up here.

I have to go past there on a daily basis to our other shed Chris i can have a look tomorrow for you and yeah they're in virginia back around the corner from team homo.

The suspension isn't bad it's just that I'm a pretty big believer in setting something up to suit yourself. and as your suspension wears it's handy to be able to stiffen it up or soften as the case may be.

I rode the cafe racer version and the sport back to back and i've gotta say the sport is the winner in my books. Hard call between the KTM and the Benelli though Smile

Thanks a bunch mate. Will do. That was the one thing i didn't like about the Bandit, was no suspension adjustment, unless i wanted to start playing with fork oils etc.
the sport sounds like the go. Do you know if there is much difference in the price range between the cafe and the sport??
The KTM is a sweet bike too, bit more aggressive and purpose built, but i like the styling of the Benelli more. Yellow 5

From memory there's about $1500 between the base and the sport and about the same between the sport and the cafe' racer. The benelli is a hot looking bike and one of a kind you don't see very many at all

The super duke R is a very nice bike to ride a mate has one and I have rode it a bit handles for sure but is a little hefty in price and hard to get bits for

other issue for the superduke is fuel range..... it's small... very small...
