Hi Guy,
Happy New Year.
I will receive my 1.6 upgrade very soon and i'm very interested by what you can do with a wonderfull program like PC Lap Counter.
You can rely upon me to test a beta if you implement something.
Thanks.

Thanks Palary, as soon i have a beta i will return to you.
Problem is that i don't have a scalextric digital track and so i have no experience with the powerbase pro.
Edit:I have received the documentation, let me sometime to study and check what's possible

Hi Guy, Happy New Year
Just to let you know I now have the upgraded PB-Pro v1.6 which has the ability to accept commands from the computer, so can try out any new enhancements.
Cheers
Martin

Hi,
I upgraded mine too in 1.6g I'm especially interested in how you can set commands without pushing buttons. It's very clear but takes to much time.
I hope PC Lap Counter will be able to set everything from computer.
I'm ready to test too !

Hi Martin, Hi palary,
I did not yet start the developement of powerbase pro because have to finish PCLC version 4.46 before.
(just need to do some modification in the new racecontrol and trackmate interfaces).
Concerning powerbase pro, actualy one thing is realy missing is the possibility to display the settings set by a software on the powerbase pro and so it will be hard to test it.
Did you have also the aux-in documentation ???, maybe i miss something but:
- i don't see a possibility to cut the power of a specific car
- Think it's not possible to reduce the speed of car with a good precision (only 100%, 88%, 75 or 50%)
- No pacer mode
- Special aux-out data not yet available (like trackcall)
I need to check with Andys but i think that possibilities will be available in powerbase pro 1.7.

Hi Guy,
This looks fantastic ! If i understand well, i can modify the settings on Pb-pro monitor on PC and it will be send to the PB ?
Will it possible to click on pacer car and adjust pace speed (in hexadecimal) ?
Thanks.
Phil.

Not realy, the monitor "just" display actual value of PCLC-PBPro settings but can can update general options and drivers settings during the race , PCLC will take care of the new values.

Thanks a lot. You did a great job.
One more thing. Is it possible from PCLC to send the start sequence to the powerbase (I mean clicking on Start on PCLC sends the start button on PB) ?
Thank you.

GREAT WORK!!!
The possibility with individual throttle map and correction of the controllers is great.
Two questions:
If I have a full tank than I have 75% power. If I press my controller for full power will I burn same fuel as with 100% power and full throttle?
With 75% power are all controller settings only 75% or will the map stop at 75%?
thanks from Germany
Andreas

Could you implement a function, that the fuel consumtion is exponential? so that you need more fuel, if you drive faster.
perhaps
Fuel consumption = ( 1 / X ) * T * T
Fuel consumption = ( 1 / X ) * T * T * T
perhaps you could put this formular to a place where we could adjust it by ourself, like the *.ini
perhaps we could find a good formular, so it´s equal if you drive slow and save or fast and unsafe. It´s for rewarding the slower drivers, which make not so much crashes.
best regards
andreas

I will test it tomorrow. What a fun.
What if you make it this way with the fuel consumption
Fuel consumption = ( 1 / X ) * T^Y
Y is a numper we could set in the menu. if you enter 1,00 you have the normal consumption if you enter 2,00 you have T*T and so on...
So we can find the best rate between slow and safe and fast.
I like your software

Good idea , just need to add Y in the general options screen also add Y in driver settings
Will put this modification on my list for next version
